Nathan was born and raised in the Springfield area, and graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. He earned his law degree and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Akron.
After earning his law degree, Nathan worked for the State of Ohio in the workers' compensation and executive agency sections for five years where he gained valuable, firsthand administrative, trial, and appellate experience. Nathan is an experienced litigator who has provided successful outcomes to his clients. He has represented various cities and counties, the Ohio Real Estate Commission, various state board members, the Ohio Highway Patrol, various universities, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and many other state agencies.
In 2019, Nathan joined a small private law firm where he represented Ohio employers in workers' compensation and other employment disputes, prepared business to business contracts, and lobbied on behalf of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
Upon joining Cole Acton Harmon Dunn, Nathan now focuses his legal efforts in several practice areas, including representation of various local government and quasi-government agencies, as well as private clients in zoning, business development, and employment matters.
Nathan lives in Springfield with his wonderful wife and four young boys. He enjoys coaching his sons’ tee ball teams, teaching them to golf, and helping his community through various club associations.
