| Paul J. Kavanagh |
| Paul joined Cole Acton Harmon Dunn in 2002 after six years as a prosecutor. Now that he is in private practice, Paul’s experience is available to help defend people who face the difficult challenges of the criminal justice system. |
| As Paul puts it, “The great satisfaction of doing criminal work is helping the people who are affected by the process. Every defendant is someone’s husband, brother, father, mother or child. They’re in trouble, and part of my job is helping the family through the ordeal.” |
| In addition to criminal defense work, Paul's practice areas include civil litigation, probate litigation, estate planning, employment law, bankruptcy, domestic relations and guardianships. He has handled numerous matters on behalf of Wittenberg University students. Paul also represents the Springfield Police Union, small businesses and governmental entities, such as the village of Enon. |
| When he isn’t in court, Paul stays busy with his wife, six children, and an occasional poker game. |
