| John graduated from The Ohio State University in 1966 and liked it so much he stayed for his law degree. Now after more than 38 years of law practice, he knows his way around the courtroom very well. |

| John’s extensive civil practice is focused primarily on domestic relations. Over the years he has handled countless divorce, dissolution and custody cases, helping people through the difficult process of ending their marriage. |
|
| Criminal law is John’s other concentration, and he has defended more misdemeanors and felonies than he can count, settling where appropriate and taking cases to trial whenever necessary. |
|
| John was a general practitioner for many years and is ready to assist clients who have general litigation, real estate or probate matters. This diversity in experience has prepared him to respond when he is called upon frequently to act as an arbitrator or mediator. |
|
| John has also been honored to serve as an acting judge in our community. For many years, both the Clark County Municipal Court and the Xenia Municipal Court have asked John to hear and decide cases. This experience gives John a special insight as an advocate. |
|
| John has contributed significantly to his community and to his profession. His office is scattered with his various service awards, but his devotion to Ohio State is the most obvious decorative theme. When he isn’t on campus for an event, he is probably out collecting antiques or spoiling his ten grandchildren. |
